Operational Workflow

  1. Startup Sequence

    • Jacking oil pump engages → forms 100µm oil film

    • Motor accelerates to 10% RPM → main lube system activates

    • Generator excitation applied at 95% sync speed

  2. Normal Operation

    • Continuous oil pressure/flow monitoring

    • HMI displays real-time bearing health metrics

  3. Shutdown & Coast-Down

    • Jacking oil maintains film during deceleration

    • Auxiliary tank cools bearings until 0 RPM

    • PLC logs coast-down time & temperature curve
