Workflow: Arrester Testing Example

  1. Connect

    • Clip HV lead to arrester top terminal

    • Ground base plate

  2. Program

    • Set Uₘₐₓ (e.g., 100kV for 110kV arrester)

    • Enable 0.75U₁ (75kV auto-capture)

  3. Ramp

    • Increase voltage to Uₘₐₓ at 1kV/s

  4. Hold

    • 10-minute timer starts (audible alert at end)

  5. Analyze
